Ian Johnson, Founder & EVP Business Development
Ian is a 20 year veteran of the mobile industry, with experience in product design, network engineering and operations, marketing and strategy. He started his career in Philips Electronics before moving to network operators, spending time with British Telecom, Mercury one2one, AirTouch and Vodafone. He was CTO and member of the management board for Vodafone's Portuguese operation, a company with annual revenues in excess of $1 billion. Ian has had considerable international experience spanning North America, Europe and Asia. He served as VP of the Liberty Alliance, a consortium representing organizations from around the world addressing the technical, business and policy issues around identity based web services. A native Brit, Ian now lives in California.
